Description of the event
Die Lust auf neue musikalische Entdeckungen zeigen die auf Barockmusik spezialisierten Musikerinnen und Musiker des Barockorchesters Elbipolis nicht zuletzt in Produktionen jenseits des gängigen Repertoires. Ob zu Gast in der Kölner Philharmonie, ob als regelmäßiger Akteur bei den Händel-Festspielen in Halle und Göttingen, beim Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival oder jüngst auch in den Sälen der Hamburger Elbphilharmonie: Auf nationalen Bühnen hat sich Elbipolis längst einen festen Platz erspielt. Mit ihrem Programm „Von Tagträumern und Nachtschwärmern“ lässt es die Geister und Fabelwesen aus dem Sommernachtstraum erscheinen. Mit der Suite von John Eccles „MAD Lover“ - der verrückte Liebhaber verschafft sich auch ein potenzieller Schwerenöter musikalisch Gehör.
